Elliana Lamprianidou travaille comme chercheuse doctorante dans le cadre du projet européen SAFE-SORRY. Après avoir terminé ses études de premier cycle en psychologie à l’Université Aristote de Thessalonique (Grèce), elle s’est installée en Belgique et a obtenu un master en psychologie clinique et psychopathologie à l’Université Libre de Bruxelles. Ses activités de recherche antérieures ont porté sur l’expérience des psychothérapeutes et leur compréhension du cadre clinique, en investiguant en particulier l’effet du genre sur la pratique clinique. Aujourd’hui, intéressée par la question d’intersectionnalité, elle étudie la parentalité dans une perspective de genre qui tient compte du milieu social et culturel plus large, ainsi que des pressions accrues exercées sur les parents contemporains – et en particulier les mères.

Elliana works as a doctoral researcher on the European project SAFE-SORRY. After completing her undergraduate studies in psychology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), she moved to Belgium and obtained a master’s degree in clinical psychology and psychopathology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Her previous research activities have focused on the experience of psychotherapists and their understanding of the clinical setting, investigating in particular the effect of gender on clinical practice. Today, interested in the question of intersectionality, she studies parenting from a gender perspective that takes into account the wider social and cultural background, as well as the increased pressures on contemporary parents – and in particular mothers.
